American Waltham Watch Co, Waltham, Mass., "Canadian Pacific Railway", 18 size model 1883, 17 jewels, stem wind and set, adjusted, damascened, nickel plate movement with lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, gold jewel settings, gold timing screws and Church micrometric regulator in a yellow gold filled, screw back and bezel open face case and Canadian 24-hour Arabic numeral, single sunk white enamel dial, blued steel spade hands, serial #10058233, c1900.
CONDITION:
CASE: Dents, back; Dings and pin pricks; Fine scratches and abrasion on outer surface of case; Very fine scratches on inner surface of case; Engraving with moderate wear; Gold filled with moderate brassing below 6:00; Pendant and bow with brassing; Crystal with fine scratches; Crown replaced, sits high. DIAL: Numerous faint hairlines in enamel. HANDS: Minor oxide, minute. MOVEMENT PLATES: Fine scratches on plate; Scratches and dings at case screws; Regulator assembly with specks of oxide; Losses to blacking in engraving; Jewel settings with gilt screws, all others polished steel. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks) .
